Went for a meal while on stag. 18.99 all you can eat and a drink. Really nice food. Massive selection of food. Staff were brilliant and even said goodbye as we went out the door. Would definitely be back again and recommend anyone who's in Carlise looking for decent food.

wanted something different than spoons to eat. On arrival the staff was friendly and polite. Food was very nice with all the usual food that you order from your local Chinese place.. cannot fault this place at all for 13. Can recommend this place to anyone reading this. No fuss restaurant in Carlisle, across the road from Spoons. Excellent value for money, particularly for a Chinese buffet. Plenty of choice. Rice, Chow mein, spare ribs, the list goes on, and on. Pint of coke around 3. Will definitely visit again next time in town.

Found this place when looking for something to eat when the original place we'd planned to go was closed. Well what a find. How we've never found it before is amazing. Great warm welcome from staff, all of whom were amazing. Food is wonderful. Always plenty to choose from and always being tended to and refreshed. Next visit we're going make sure we leave space for desserts. Hard to do when the mains are so mouthwatering tasty.

Great food, faultless service, good value. I’d recommend it. When you read some of the reviews on here it makes you cautious. My advice, try it yourself and make your own mind up. There were seven of us celebrating our daughter’s birthday. We’ll be going back.

The Place was absolutely amazing.The atmosphere is amazing. 12 per person is not too bad. The food was amazing there was alot of choices to choose from and not to long drive if you've gone shopping

We popped into Shanghai Shanghai after a couple of drinks – and let me tell you, it was the best decision of the night! The buffet delivered exactly what we needed: loads of flavour, generous meat options, sushi, noodles, spring rolls – you name it! After two plates full of deliciousness, we couldn’t even remember we had been drinking. Magic? Maybe. Worth it? Absolutely. The food is always fresh, the variety is great, and the vibe is relaxed. Bonus points for Tsingtao beers that perfectly matched the meal. If you’re looking for a place that never disappoints (especially when you’re hungry and slightly tipsy), Shanghai Shanghai is the spot.
